There will be three larger than life sculptures depicting Superheroes as ordinary people. Even with superpowers they still have to do the mundane things like walk the dog, buy groceries and stand in the rain.
The pieces will be on view through July 20, 2007. Location: 100 Sabine Street Houston, Texas 77007 Opening reception: Thursday, May 31st 6:30 to 9:30 pm. A booth will be set up for kids to create their own superhero capes and masks. The reception will be in conjunction with Buffalo Bayou Partnership’s Night on Blue Bayou, which will be an evening of family friendly activities at the Sabine-to-Bagby Promenade. These free family events include: star gazing with the Houston Museum of Natural Science, boat rides, jugglers, balloon artists, park food concessions, glow-in-the-dark face painting, astrology readings, storytelling and night hikes.
